Biography
Dr. Iqbal is an instructor of Psychology at Housatonic Community College with more then 8 years of teaching experience. She earned her MSc in Psychometry and her PhD in School Psychology from Mississippi State University, Starkville and has been teaching courses like Counseling theory and Practice, Research Methods in Psychology, General Psychology, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Personality theory, Psychology of learning, Psychological testing, History of Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Lifespan Human growth & development, & Consumer Economics.
Before coming to HCC, Dr. Iqbal served as an adjunct faculty member at Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma as well as Iona College, New Rochelle, NY, where she taught similar courses to a diverse group of students. Dr. Iqbal has also taught courses in multiple institutions internationally. Her research interests include ethical behavior in research and practice, behavioral and academic interventions, impact of depression on investment decisions, in addition to conducting collaborative research internationally. Dr. Iqbal has also done field work and practice in United States as well as Internationally.
