Biography

Stephane Kirven is an attorney and college professor with over 15 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level. She started her professional career working for the Legal Aid Society Criminal Division as a public defender in New York City Criminal court. She also was a Corporate lawyer specializing in insurance litigation. She has authored peer review journal articles and book chapters on Restorative Justice, Violence Against Women and Women in the Judiciary. She has also served on several journals as a peer reviewer.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Tufts University and her Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law Center. She holds a Certificate in Educational leadership from the HERS Institute at Wellesley College and is a trained certified conflict mediator.
