Robert Wyckoff, Instructor of English, teaches Composition, Literature, and American Literature courses. He has taught at Housatonic, Naugatuck Valley, and Southern Connecticut State University.

He earned a Master of Arts from the University of New Mexico and a PhD from Texas A&M University. His research focused on rhetoric, composition, and American Literature, and frequently applied theory to popular culture. Recently he has become involved in Open Educational Resources, and he is particularly interested in the technology that supports OER. His OER ENG 101 course includes a unit on videogames and education to help students reflect on their engagement with these huge parts of their lives. He enjoys cooking and building stuff at home, and is much better at one than the other.
