Biography
Letizia Morales is the Coordinator of the Medical Assistant Program at Housatonic Community College. She began the program three years ago and also serves as Assistant Professor to classes in the program.
Letizia grew up in Clinton Connecticut and graduated from Morgan High School. She attended Branford Hall and received her certificate in Medical Assisting and became a Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA). As a CMA she has work experience in Internal Medicine, Allergy, Digestive Disease and Urgent care practices. She worked as a CMA for six years before going back to school for her Masters.
Letizia earned her Associates of General Studies at Gateway Community College. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology at Southern Connecticut State University, and graduated Suma Cum Laude with her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant from the University of Bridgeport. She earned all her degrees while raising three children.
Letizia resides in Madison with her four children Aaron, Marc, Alyssa and Olivia. She is also a member of the East Haven Lions Club, she is past president of the club and current Zone 8 Chairwoman. She volunteers with local political campaigns as well. She is a boxing and soccer fan, and loves to travel and spend time with her children.
