Giving Day at Housatonic is on February 24th and you can be a part of this extraordinary day. Keep reading to learn how.

Giving Day is a 24-hour online giving campaign that raises funding for students like you! Funding helps students with emergency needs such as payment for unexpected healthcare bills, car repairs, and rent payment. These emergencies can prevent students from attending class or completing a semester, and this funding helps you stay focused in school.

We want all of our HCC students involved in this important campaign. AND, just by being a part of this campaign, you are guaranteed a PRIZE! Here’s how to participate:

1. Share our Giving Day posts on Facebook, Insta or LinkedIn with everyone you know- friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, ect. Posts are happening every Thursday leading up to Feb. 24th Giving Day, and then every day the week of Feb. 21st.
2. Ask everyone you know to make a donation of $10 or more on Feb. 24th Giving Day. This is very important- make sure they list your name in the “In Honor of” box when a donation is being made.

3. The student with the most # of donations in their honor will win a $250 gift card plus a gift bag of HCC swag!

For as low as $10, you and your community can be a part of this amazing event. All the funds raised will be going right back to help students like you with emergency assistance, textbooks, and more. We understand as students, funds may be tight, so get your friends and family involved to help you win! All students who receive at least one donation in their honor will win a prize too!
